Santa and one of his elves discuss a new direction for North Pole Industries. Explores themes of giving and perspective on Christmas
Quick glimpse:

SANTA: No, we’re not in the GIFT-giving business. We’re just in the GIVING business.

[Hightower doesn’t understand]

SANTA: Listen, if I went out and bought you a Porsche, what would you think? Yes, you’d like it, yes you’d appreciate it, thank me, drive it, enjoy it. But would you really be happy?

HIGHTOWER: [enthusiastically] Yes!

SANTA: No. No, you wouldn’t. What do you drive now?

HIGHTOWER: A Landrover.

SANTA: Ok, see, that’s a nice car. Until 10 minutes ago, you were probably perfectly satisfied with that. But now, you hear “Porsche,” and suddenly your Landrover isn’t good enough. Do you see what I’m getting at?

HIGHTOWER: So you’re saying I am or am NOT getting a Porsche?

SANTA: No Porsche. What if instead, I tried to figure out what would contribute to your happiness, thought about your interests and realized that you have a passion for music, and bought you a harmonica instead of a Porsche? What if my gift to you was learning about your dreams and helping you, in some small way, realize them?
