Mr. Sandman has his hands full getting the egotistical stars into their appointed places in the heavens each night and is panicked when a new star shows up without notice. Tie in with the wise men following the Star of Bethlehem.

From years of nursing home ministry I suggest this be performed as an after Christmas show than can be done as a reader's theater with little prep. Many organizations and churches minister to residents in residential facilities prior to Christmas. Then the after Christmas slump happens. Many are disappointed that family did not visit. The death rate rises and depression and winter blues set in. This can provide a quick after Christmas contact that shows Christians care year round and alleviate some of the negative for these residents.
