Chrismas Contata/Drama - (Modern-day setting)Six year old Melissa Marshall has just one wish for Christmas, her father's salvation. Facing gambling debts, the ridicule of co-workers, and the conviction of the Holy Spirit, he finally agrees to attend the church's Chritmas program to hear his little girl sing. A tragedy occurs at the end of the concert that sends Melissa to the hospital and her father to his knees.

The original music for adult and children's choirs is written for pianists on an intermediate/advanced level and can be used with the play or separately as a mini-contata with narration. (Simple traditional Christmas carols may be substituted, if preferred.) Set may be simple or elaborate.
